Dr Marni Stuart is an interdisciplinary designer, and educator with 20+ years of experience; I create patterns that feature native Australian plants to celebrate the native habitats and endemic plants. Inspired by walks through the bushland, my practice is embedded in an experimental response to place. I use drawing and other mark-making techniques to create my designs. Always starting with the hand, the work is authentic and distinct. My works appear across surfaces within fashion, interiors, and product design.
